Each year we like to give the upcoming 6th Grade class an opportunity to see the inside of our school. The Summer Day Camp for the 2008-2009 School Year will be held Thursday, July 31st. During this orientation students will have the opportunity to meet our faculty and staff, take a tour of the building, get to know their classmates, and catch a glimpse of what life in middle |

school will be like for them. At SMS we love to recognize students for their efforts. If your student has participated in any Spring Sport (Boys’ Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Golf, or Tennis) you are invited to attend. The Spring Sports Awards Ceremony will be held in the cafeteria Tuesday, May 13th at 6:00. We hope to see you there! |

We are having our final Fantastic Friday of the year on May 9th. This activity has been very successful so far and the students love it! There will be 14 career choices ranging from Sports Medicine and Radiology to Banking and Insurance. There will also be 14 activity choices with everything from Clogging to an Obstacle course sponsored by the Army National Guard. We always need volunteers to help make this day of learning fun and successful. If you would be interested in helping please contact Susan Guess, School Counselor at 967-7355. |
