FROM THE PRINCIPAL—It is time again to say
goodbye for the summer. This year has
gone by quickly. We, the faculty and
staff, feel as though we have had a good year and hope that it has been positive
for all of you and your children. Educating your child is a team effort and we
appreciate all of the support you have given us this year. To the 5th grade students, we will miss you
and have enjoyed having you here at Broadview.
Good luck as you travel through your remaining school years. Please come back and visit with us. Parents, thank you for giving

FROM THE LIBRARY--
Money was donated by the patrons of Curl’s Corner, Frank’s General Merchandise
and Michelle Stovall to purchase books for our library. Oliver-Rhoads and
Associates employees also made a nice donation. We appreciate these
donations very much! What would I do without such wonderful
volunteers? I do appreciate all of the help that is offered in the

A GENTLE REMINDER-Any money owed to the school for cafeteria charges, ESP
charges, library books and fees, pictures and damaged books must be paid for
before your child can go on their field trip or get their end of the year
report card.
SUMMER SCHOOL 2008

Grades K – 5
The
Franklin County Board of Education will be holding summer School for Grades K –
5 at Cowan Elementary, Clark Memorial Elementary, and Decherd Elementary.

8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Monday
through Friday
Students
may register on May 30th from 9:00 a.m.to 10:30 a.m. at Cowan, Clark
Memorial, or Decherd. The class sizes
are small so be sure to get your child enrolled early.
The
fee for Summer School will be $10.00. (Fees may be waived for eligible
students.)

you miss the registration and would still like to register, please contact
Patti Limbaugh at the Franklin County Board of Education. 967-0626
**Parents, Charges
should be limited to emergencies only during the month of May. All accounts
need to be paid in full by May 28th. Money left over in students accounts will
carry over into next year.
